#2 in Canada

Canadians (at least from my part of the country) reserve their beach  
reading for Mexico or Cuba in the winter ...

in any case, it was a surprise for me to see IV on the Maclean's  
bestseller list, given that the Canadian book retail scene is mostly  
monopolized by one behemoth chain (ChaptersIndigoColes), and that in  
my recent visits to outlets of said chain in downtown Toronto I have  
seen IV displayed well away from the central new release displays (no  
doubt because Penguin won't pay the behemoth for the central display  
privilege).
