actually pretty cool that he is that far out of the celebrity
mindset (not to mention the outraged innocent, but Gates-gate is a different
kettle of fish that maybe needs to happen (though what would N Mailer
of the hipster-as-negro days say)) - no entourage, probably mumbling and smiling
- I am not and never have been in love with Dylan but this makes me
like him more
(must admit I've paid to see him couple or 3 x so I don't guess I hate him)

- I got Paterson, talk about your loose baggy monster,
and I look forward to immersing myself in it and will honestly not have
that much to say about IV - tho I love it - for a while because I also
have some reading to do for *work* which Terrance would approve of ...right?

a-and back in the day, good as the Beatles and Stones were/are,
what some of us looked forward to hearing on the AM radio was
Creedence, (Suzie Q)
the Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde, Love is Blue, the Look of Love,
(egads, even Cherish,
embarrassingly enough) Windy, Tie Me Kangaroo Down, King of the Road,
Secret Agent Man, Respect,
Love Child (never meant to be), Angel of the Morning...
Harper Valley PTA, a-and Don't Walk Away Renee,
and that Billy Joe McAllister...and how about Barefootin',

Boogaloo Down Broadway! (yeah, the funky Broadway)
(not "On Broadway", too sad, though Rainy Night in Georgia, sadder
still, was always tasty),
and perhaps best of all, Poke Salad Annie
- everybody said it was a shame, 'cause her mother was workin' on a
chain gang...
