Heh. SPOILER... Nobody surfs, Doc doesn't seem to be stoned all the
time, we can't be sure this is really a Sixties narrative...
I find it odd that the image of listeners in booths in the record
store is being used in a negative way. yeah, I get the isolation
thing, and the connection with ipods (or, before that, Walkmans) is
cute. But those old record stores, where you could go in a booth and
listen, that is usually portrayed as a *positive* thing, from the
past, that we don't have any more and are the poorer for.
