Now, look here, chum: there' s no breach to once more into. Or, if
there is, I'm on your side of it anyway. I think a number of critcis
made total asses of themselves by not getting 'Against the Day'. The
book began beautifully, then unravelled. Towards the end, there were
some great segments, and as you say, it all comes sorta 'full fuckin'
circle' (although what it all 'means' is, as ever, vague). Fine by me.
But the middle sections were uneven. Still worth reading, every page,
but sometimes frustrating.

Come now, tell me which parts of what I just said could not be applied to GR?

But ATD was, even by Pynchon;s standards, baggy and loose. Some of us
think tehre may wel lbe hidden structures, but that is another
story...
