I'm not gonna comment on Amis. But surely Tarantino had his 'shark
jumping' moment long ago. Reservoir Dogs was guilty fun, as was Pulp
Fiction, the latter enjoyable re-watchable. After that, it all went to
shit. Jackie Brown was a curate's egg, Kill Bill I found unwatchable,
everything else way off my radar. Trouble with Tarantino was, was
tehre was never any 'there' there. Apparently his new one is so bad
that critics are struggling to find words.
And if you consider Chandler/Marlowe brutish, well, wait'll you get a
loada Quentin!
