Would be nice to see some actual discussion though.

Main one, maybe would be: to coin a phrase, how does it feel? What's
the Pynchon savvy reader's first impression, based on the section
we've just covered? How traditional noir does it feel, for example, as
opposed to how classically Pynchon? How 'Sixties' does it feel? How
light? How close to Vineland (pretty close huh)? Any pointers so far
to other books, COL49, GR, etc.? How do we like Doc? How does he
compare to Zoyd? What's our take on Shashta - how fatale a femme is
she? Stuff like that...........
