Reading all the velvet picture links that Dave sent one learns this:

as well as how they turned from religious to celebrity-filled which is

One learns this: it seems the roots go way back to the Orthodox strain of
Christianity, which, you will recall, was heavily a part of AtD...
The strain, historically many argue, that gets closest to JC hisself.....direct use of his language NOT JC's story as told by the Gospelists............
