Please, allow me to explain. There was much talk of "Bleak House" at  
the time, my sister's i·dée fixe . "Our Beloved Author" struck me as a  
potential Dickens styled phrase. I also recalled that "Oba" is an  
African [Nigerian?] term for a King and representations of a king.  
Feel free to bury the term.
