another apology

John Carvill, it seems that you've been overlooked so  I want to  
apologize for failing to mention you by name in the post I wrote  
yesterday, about the p-list archives. Bless your soul, OF COURSE you  
know all about the Pynchon-l archives!

I'll try to make it more clear, in the future, if something I write  
here does in fact have something particular to do with you, and I'll  
be sure to mention you by name each time I do.

I can't promise I'll write about you every time I sit down at the  
keyboard and correspond with Pynchon-l, but I've got you at the top of  
my list, amigo!

And may I say as well, while I've got everybody's attention, what a  
wonderfully constructive presence you are in our little community!
