Sure is daffy about those automobiles

This relationship was first brought to my attention by my 11th grade
teacher as we read The Sound and the Fury, where she pointed ot that
the evil Jason Compson had chronic problems with his car, symbolizing
at least one source of his rage: his impotence.  Definitely an
eye-opener for a 16 year old boy.
