Why does Doc hear this? Doc, who we know is hallucinating, takes the statement straight, 'cause he asks Thomas if he is freaked out a little 
with this black apocalypse talk?......

Just as, I suggest, with no hallucinating, many might have asked around that time, but seldom of a 'founding father".

Laura recently asked if 'it went all the way back to our founding fathers"...what, vice, corruption, lies?.......
