As we know from J.D. Salinger's precedent, the writer of letters 'owns' the words on them, so, Pynchon through Ms. Jackson would have had to agree, make a deal as would the Gaddis estate.
Have heard nothing.

Hi all,
I was at one of the National Book Foundation's 'Writers on Writers' panel discussions a month or so back, and the topic was 'Gravity's Rainbow'. One of the panelists was a guy from one of those publishers (Viking? Can't remember -- I have a horrible memory for credentials) , and he mentioned that there's a collection of correspondence between Gaddis and Pynchon set to be published next year. Does anybody know anything more about this? I can't find any info online about such correspondence existing at all.
Best,
Alex
