I would just like to say on behalf of the Iraqi children with cancers
and birth defects,
and the Afghans with missing limbs and the weeping mothers and
fathers and sisters and brothers in these countries. I see NOTHING
BUT SUFFERING AND VIOLENCE as the testament of the soldiers Obama
talks about. To treat the bloodbath in Iraq as some kind of noble
accomplishment in order to sell a new war that is equally misdirected
and devastating is as cynical and dishonest, manipulative and
fearmongering as anything Bush did. Obama should join hands with
uncle Dick Cheney and gather all the redblooded freedom fighters of
the world and pool their own god damn money and go fight these wars
themselves and leave the taxpayers out of it. I'm talkin all
volunteer army. Go buy your own 400 dollar a gallon gas.
Nevertheless I must admit that apart from this one teency little
problem of bombing innocent people in other countries, and pimping
taxpayers at bargain rates to every banker and Insurance company with
a big check, Obama is A REALLY NICE GUY.
To me saying this president is better than George Bush is like
recommending a writer because she or he is better than Bill OReilly.
Like saying LBJ's bombs were more noble and democratic than Nixon's.
