Kai Frederik Lorentzen asks:
>Do you see ways to shrink the US population's support for the War?
Sure: wait for us to lose patience with another couple-three instances. Or
until we actually lose (= major military catastrophe). The biggest,
stonkingly obvious predictor of US vs European attitudes is simply that in
the 20th century, a European was 100x more likely to die in war -- and even
more likely to have his/her life painfully and memorably disrupted, while
our "home fronts" were scarcely affected (Korea, Viet Nam, Iraq I &II,
ThisTimeItsDifferentIstan) or actually prospered (WWI, WWII).
