Heh. Very good notes on Chapter 17, Rich. I must go back and think more about them. Problem is my re-read of IV is behind the p-list group read curve.

Meanwhile...the legacy of the 60s-- the pill, civil rights, the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Miles Davis's electric music, JFK (briefly), Thomas Pynchon, stoner culture, the movie brats, mainstream political protest, etc.
