Kids Think Hitler was a soccer coach and more

This sort of Ignorance Poll pops up pretty regularly. I kinda think
they serve an interesting cultural function (and they're hardly
objective statistical surveys). In this case, they're more an argument
for the importance of history than a statement that kids are dumb.

We commonly get stuff like this:

which plays on anxieties towards the increasing Americanisation of the
globe, but on the surface comes off as "Americans are fat and stupid".
