Were I to make a "Word Cloud" from Inherent Vice, these word clusters
would form: Private Eye, Bonzo Dog Band, Manhattan Beach, the infinite
varieties of Marijuana, "The War On Drugs," Gordita Beach, Doc, KRLA/
KHJ, Suburbs, Watts, Manson, Golden Fang/Fu Manchu, Top 40 radio's
heyday, "Fast Food Nation", "It Never Entered My Mind," Heroin, Nixon/
Hughes, FBI/CIA, "Family Values," Cheech & Chong, Lew Alcindor, The
internet, Internet addiction, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Magenta
and Kelly Green, LSD/The Brotherhood of Eternal Love, Beatles/Beach
Boys/Byrds/Boards/Bossa Nova, Shasta/Bigfoot . . .
