IV Killing Puck

Air-bubble into a vein isn't that big a deal.  Doc is killing Puck
appropriately with an overdose.  Why DOES Doc kill Puck, particularly after
he has calmed down from beating Puck to a pulp?  Trillium.

For what it's worth, speaking of pulp, doesn't Kill Bill's "The Bride"
lethal-dose her rapist-nurse following beating him senseless after she has
regained conciousness (from a coma)?
