I believe Howard mentioned Gaddis in passing, but that was all.

That would have been the event where Robert Stone, Emily Barton and
Gerald Howard discussed GR. The event was attended by eminent p-listers
Monte and Laura, if I remember correctly. Monte did an excellent write-up
of the event, and I'm sure he would have noticed it (and mentioned it in
his write-up) if any such information popped up during the discussion. 
So it's probably a dud.
