all good ideas, Henry!
2010 I hope to read up on homeopathy so I know why Pynchon
made the trespasser guy a lycopodium type
I just finished Run by Ann Pratchett, which I unabashedly like (cried
real tears)
and almost thru Chronic City - that Lethem fellow has a way with words -
peeked ahead at the ending, the crazy guy ------
(spoiler warning)
---- dies a virgin, of hiccups...Pynchon wouldn't do that to one of
his characters, which is why, for me, Pynchon still rules...
speaking of celibates dying of hiccups,
Rich sez they (They?) are going to saint Pacelli...
we have pretty good evidence that he hated the Nazis but
has he cured anybody? that, for me, is the gold standard:
can I pray to the dude to remove a carbuncle?
