NP: Valuable as a One Dollar Bill?

Ahem.  I have a friend who is in possession of a 2001 dollar bill that has
the black seal with the mint letter, L in this case, printed on the green
side over the one side of the eagle instead of to the left of George, i.e.
opposite the scales seal and the ONE!  Does anyone on the list know much
about American folding money?  I thought that the whole side would get
printed at the same time?  Think it's valuable?

Sorry to bother the list with something like this, but of all groups with
which I am associated, this is the one from which I thought that I might
actually receive a knowledgeable answer.
