Long ago I read a book which offered the notion that
if we had evolved from 5-pointed starfish, we would not
have a dualistic, manicheistic, either-or sense of 'morality'.
Our morality would be pluralistic, --might have incorporated
the excluded middle, I have thought as I get deeper and deeper into
our beloved starfish writer.
