I play the sitar and I'm a lover of classical Indian music and Chaurasia is great. I have a Record of Vijay Raghav Rao whom is also one of India's masters on the flute. I would also recommend Bismillah Khan who plays the Shehnai which is a kind of flute, but is played extending in front of the mouth instead of to the side. It is played slow and almost sounds like an instrument in old Japanese Gagaku music. Which, if anyone's into Avant-Garde music, I would highly recommend this ancient music. It ranks up there with Tuvan throat singing as far as oriental avant music is concerned.
