--sounds like the much creepier Mucho in Lot 49 after taking LSD.

Does Dr Hilarious' claim of not losing oneself in pharmaceuticals or
psychotherapy (ot at least damping your dreams), keeping one's, in
Oedipa's case, her growing paranoia about the scope and reach of
Tristero, dream alive, make it less relevant that it comes from a
former concentration camp dr at Buchenwald?
