       "a flow of savage wind".......God often metaphorized as Wind. See Job. 
       " Assembling itself from small pieces of truss-work"....as if a mind of its own, assembling metal and steel. 
       "tropic of Cancer"--or Northern Tropic. North, not a good place in TRPs world. The word "tropic" itself comes from the Greek tropos, meaning turn, referring to the fact that the sun appears to "turn back" at the solstices. Title ( in caps) of a H. Miller novel from which TRP drew an epigraph for "Entropy".

p. 65 "insurance". Like mafia protection money?
        "Godzilla"....This story/myth was born out of the atom bomb horrors on Japan at the end of WW2. 
        "highest B flat" makes the invaders leave?   Robin? Anyone? Anyone?
