p.70  "chi state" ....."turn to stone":The yellow sun dan tien also called the sun stone is at the solar plexus surrounding the yellow and green chakral areas . It stores vital essence called chi .
 
p. 70.  Ryan and Crystal, two other baby boomers' kids names in ascendance, I'm sure, but I'm not looking them up. SS site is fascinating if you want to.

          "Flash was an absorber of light". !! Like black. Cf. light in AtD, esp. She can pick 'em, eh? 
           
          "Betray someone you'd been to bed with"....."had that specialist's code".....marked now for life, "the zombie at her back". her betrayal like another of the living dead. 
Frenesi grew up with blacklist/betrayal talk in her daily life. She became what she heard about--Psychologists write of labile [free and easy, so to speak] character structures which move into what they fear; she became what her parents resisted. OR another turn in the wheel of history from committed radicalism in one generation to informant the next? Or both, of course. 

             TRP links Frenesi's betrayal to anti-Communism in Hollywood, in America, this way! With spying/informing on each other in general? Linked with
