Italian Fake book by D & G.  In the same vein as the various jokey misassociations sprinkled through the story:  
Woody Allen in the Henry Kissenger Story, etc.   How about this one from real life: 
in Brooklyn, there's a Paul Robeson High School for Business and Technology.


There was an episode of the so-so show Quantum Leap where the protagonist leapt into the body of an 
Italian wedding singer and had to fake a rendition of Volare.


How hard could it be to fake Volare?
