"...about the time DL showed up, all in black including helmet and
face shield, riding her esteemed and bad red and silver Czech
motorcycle, the Che Zed, overdesigned in every part, up onto which she
gathered Frenesi out of danger..."

CZ and Jawa were both Czechoslovakian bikes...

Though I can honestly claim freedom from any fetishes concerning the
Uzi and the Trans-Am, DL is welcome to pick me up on the back of that
CZ...yeah, baby!

although the pictures on that page may actually be a Jawa (but still a
Czech bike)(and red)

cz250 single (also red)

two wymmen on a red Jawa (add a dash of frenzy and aggro)

anyway, it occurs to me to run Che Zed together, and get Chesed, the
fourth Sephirah.

although DL seems more a Geburah figure...
but the action of the book is taking Frenesi as well as DL out of the
realm of Geburah (Justice) toward the realm of Chesed (Mercy)
and perhaps Tiphareth (Beauty)...

"Frenesi's eyes, even on the aging ECO stock, took over the frame, a
defiance of blue unfadable."
