My Mom's old haunts are 40 miles south, the Garberville/Redway strip.  
The Benbow Inn is nice and historic and Middle Class, but you really  
have to get closer to the street and get to know some locals to  
appreciate this zone. Bea is now is 20 miles north in Trinidad, where  
you'll find the grave marked "E. B. Schnaubelt 1855-1913 Murdered By  
Capitalism" & some of the cleanest air in the U.S.A.
