Henry Darger--items from a catalog

The documentary is good. For those with Netflix accounts it can be streamed
from their web site (no waiting for it to show up in your mail box).
It would be nice to have all of those texts (the 15,145 page Realms of the
Unreal, the 5,084 page autobiography, and I guess a second novel of over
10,000 words according to wikipedia) to sort of wallow around in but I get
the impression the documentary "spiffs it up" a bit, in other words, while
reading a handful of episodes from each text might be fascinating, reading
it in its entirety would likely turn one into a quivering, bored lump of
flesh. But then you never know which segments any individual would find of
interest, the idea of "selections" of any work always turns me off a little
bit.
Who wants to volunteer transcribing it for release on the internet? ;)
