The ass-kicking Kunoichi Sisterhood reminds me more than a little of  
Russ Meyer/R. Crumb fantasy gurls. Like Frenesi—and much of Vineland— 
their presence servers to irritate the true believers in Leftist  
causes by displaying all too accurately just how much of the energy of  
these causes came out of fantasies developed by the conglomerate  
empires of Hollywood and the Tube.
