I'm more than cynical than the next fella but I have to say what it
boils down for me is the sheer joyful fact of a bush-less, cheney-less
presidency
and I feel pretty great about that

there is always an alternate path somewheres to find (if at all or at
best briefly)--I think Pynchon's later work reflects this
it's something to hold onto
