NP: "Chronic City"

Years ago I lived near Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. I took some 
visitors from Brooklyn into the Park. The only sound was the wind in the 
trees. My friends became nervous and wanted to go back to Estes. It turned 
out that the lack of noise bothered them.

Nowhere else they'd live but in Brooklyn. Nowhere else I'd live but in 
mountains or a littoral region, or a sailboat on an ocean.
