1966, the Left, fascism and more

I have just seen Godard's "Made in USA". 1966 but never--or barely; not sure---released in the United States (they say) before
2008! Which amazes me. (And told as if 67-69 HAVE happened within the film. As if it is set in the just-ahead future)

You do not need me, only Godard's name, to recommend it. I have only a beginning understanding of it. (I feel like the first
time I read C of Lot49 with it).

Dead leftist whom Anna Karina loved and is trying to find out how he died. a pulp fiction writer fictionalized; the real Marianne
Faithful, a movie being made while the pulp writer writes and The Left, Communists (in France), fascism fears, five deaths, maybe some
'real"....Left: Year Zero flashes, Quote:  "The Right is so cruel it is blind; The Left is sentimental" but the major reason for this post is this:

5, 6, 7 times during the film, shot largely outside, supposedly in Atlantic City (within the film framing) and near a military base someone
says, the noticable loud sound---screaming--- of jets comes across the screen. Wonderful.
