Ah, but I disagree, Vond is straight out of Hawaii 5-0 and dresses to  
match. He wears the uniform of the Television Personality—photo/ 
phonegenic—of a Steve McGarrett or Detective Ed Green. Their uniform— 
anyone recall those shiny black FBI shoes from the Electric Kool-Aid  
Acid Test?—with all those little signs that are supposed to point to a  
squeaky-clean "Good Cop": that Vond's "uniform."
