At 16 bolted to Colorado for university (philosophy, logic, literature). SAT 
scores? No idea. Weight? Don't have a scale. Hair colour? White.

1973. Bought several hundred acres of ranchland in British Columbia with 
seven friends.

36 years later: still on the ranch. No rent, mortgage, or mechanics liens. 
We love each other as much as, or more than, ever.

I have no idea what I did to deserve a life this good.
