As a recording engineer, I have recorded many fine choirs including  
Chanticleer, that Glorious product of San Francisco.

Kitka—[Macedonian, means bouquet] an East Bay female vocal ensemble  
focusing on Eastern European vocal sounds—features Shira Cion [my ex]  
who is quite capable of making very loud sounds as well.

Around 2 minutes in this video, mezzo- soprano Shira has a duet with  
alto Michelle [who's doing the drone]. I've posted this You Tube
