mutant past, with parents forced to live underground. Also, Fry's very  
much a Zoyd Wheeler kind of schlump, Bender's as delusional as Hector  
and Professor Farnsworth is a refugee from Candlebrow U.

I'm just glad to elevate the tone 'round these parts . . .
