not that I'm going anywhere, but I've not been following along,
either, sorry. But I will say this, for the record: I've only ever
read of Chomsky his Cartesian Linguistics, and I've enough problems
with THAT, so ...

Meanwhile, i've ALSO been lame about following along/joining in the VL
discussion.  I am currently attempting, at least, to catch up, all
around ...
