Andrei Rublev is pretty great but I've never seen The Sacrifice so  
now looking forward to unseen Tarkovsky.  Once had my stereo smashed  
while working at Yosemite by someone who didn't apparently care for  
Captain Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica. Van Vleet , by the way, moved  
from LA to Trinidad right above Arcata  Mckinleyville, and a likely  
scene for Vineland.  The beach he describes  that Sasha went to  
sounds like Luffenholtz beach just South of Trinidad on 1.  The  
stream that comes out there can be followed up into some beautiful  
wild places.
