I don't know if P had laid out Mucho's future beyond L 49 but it  
seems that they ended up via the 2 routes  (yes to drugs vs no to  
drugs )with similar degrees of enlightenment  about the bigger  
picture. Several republicans, most who probably never smoked or  
inhaled,  have become serious and articulate critics of the excesses  
of Reagan Bush.
