I work in a what one would call a preponderance of female-friendly
empowerment milieu. there are lots of gals who find empowerment solely
in seeing men being bossed around (just from my experience mind you
and these are sentiments openly admitted to in various conversations)
power eventually corrupts everybody
Oedipa is simply human--let's not put her on a pedestal. the fact that
she is female is irrevelant
