CoL49 (3) Music of the future [PC 34, PF 48]

I recall having written to the plist something about Pynchon going
"electric" almost simultaneously with Dylan [I forgot to mention
Miles Davis who, of course, did the same a little bit later].
V.'s acoustic jazz and folk having been replaced by the Paranoids
and Stockhausen in COL49.

On another level, I think I said in that ancient message something
to the effect that the enervated landscape of V. has also been
replaced in COL49 by an electrified ambience of many possibilities.

Am inclined to agree with the old me.
