Star Trek has even historically *u**e* the moment it starts messing
with time travel ("City on the Edge of Forever" notwithstanding; also,
that DS9 "Trouble with Tribbles" revisit; uh, and First Contact; but
otherwise ...).  But what was REALLY unnecssary was an entire
continuity reboot, esp. as even the alternate continuity MAKES NO
GODDAM SENSE ANYWAY.  Plus, what's with spaceships full of deep, empty
spaces and railless platforms?  I blame the Death Star ...
