kalifornischem Post-Hippie-Roman "Inherent Vice" dürfte die
literarische Figur des Jahres sein. Sagt ein Chick: "Ask you
something, Doc?" Antwortet Doc: "Long as it aint the capital of South
Dakota, sure." Gegen Doc ist selbst The Big Lebowski ein Anfängerdude.
Wer hätte gedacht, dass Pynchon im letzten Versuch so ein Ding
raushaut? Ganz große Unterhaltungskunst.
