not exactly a match but reminds me of Robert Mitchum in the Friends of
Eddy Coyle--new print from Criterion DVD--another one of those early
1970s crime gems, this a beaut of a film about the low level
underworld in Irish Boston, bankrobbers and gunrunners
Mitchum (Quincy never looked so dank and depressing) exudes the boozed
up world-weariness and on the other furtive desperation
highly recommend foax
