pretty well-developed set of parallels - have you been working out?
I'd turn it to my own beliefs by saying it's the job we are supposed to
disapprove of, and, with Doc, end up sort of liking the guy and getting
some useful detecting clues from him; that Jade and Ashley as sex
workers aren't cast in opprobrium per se and that their only real
quarrel with Jason is that he thinks he has some kind of hold on them
which they are bound to dispute...
