The whole country is going down the Tubes, tragedy on a national/ 
international scale, while killer cops collect bob-wire and con the  
hippies as they smoke their rope, and nobody can really see what's  
going on until a generation has gone by and then still unclearly.   
That's tragic enough for me.

Like Profane at the end of V., hasn't learned a thing.  What, me  
worry?  Nothing but fun in those go-go 60s a head!

Dog Soldiers is a fine novel, as we've discussed a bit before.
