I'm not sure I know about what your agreeing with me.
I haven't read Milton. I suppose I should. But re. Satan, Adam &
Eve, I've heard an interpretation of the Fall in a twist that makes
Adam a bit more human: Eve (but not Adam) was seduced/deceived by
Satan. Adam encountered Eve in the fallen state, and out of love
chose to follow her down the hole. He could have just let her be
banished from Eden, and God could have just fashioned a second "help
meet." But he, with full knowledge he chose to share her fate. That
interpretation lends some drama to the myth...
