We're Only In It For The Money

Opening the Beatles Box bordered on the numinous. For some reason, I  
bought very few Beatles albums over the years despite their role in  
turning my 10 year old ears to the world of music. While that world  
became populated by music a bit more adventurous over the years,  
somehow the door was opened by the Beatles into everything from  
Anthony Braxton to Harry Partch to Xenakis. I'm not going to bed  
until the iPod has the whole stash on it. I'll be going to sleep with  
my head between the cans to the music of the Fab Four.
